Fred Orsaia

 

Born and raised in Stamford, Ct, Fred grew up playing in the Mid -Fairfield and CT Yankee AAA Hockey programs. He followed with 4 years at Trinity Catholic where, his senior year, he captained the team to a Connecticut Division I State Championship in 1998. He did a “PG” year at Taft Prep School the following season, where they were the preseason #1 ranked prep team in the nation.

Fred played 4 years of varsity hockey at Skidmore College (NCAA – D III). He was twice selected as the NCAA rookie of the week in 2000 and ECAC All Rookie Team the same year. His senior year he was named to the ECAC All Star Team.

Fred has coached in the CT Yankee program including coaching a team in the infamous Brick Tournament in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. Additionally Fred contracted privately for skill development classes. Coach Orsaia also head coached the 2008 CP Dynamo AAA Bantam Major team and the 2009 Jr Phantoms Peewee Major team.

Bryan McDonald, Goalie Coach

 

 

 

Bryan McDonald is the founder and director of Mac Goaltending, a Capital District-based goalie development program that conducts classes and clinics as well as private training sessions for both youth and elite goaltenders.

Bryan serves as Goalie Coach and Consultant for several NCAA Universities, the CD Selects and Green Mountain Glades Junior programs (EJHL), and numerous high school and youth hockey organizations. He has over 18 years of experience at the highest level of Youth and Junior “A” hockey.

Coach "Mac" enters his second season working with the Junior Phantoms goalies.

 

 

Coach Viatcheslav Kouznetsov, Skating Coach

Coach "Slava" is the Philadelphia Flyers and Adirondack Phantoms skating coach. Coach Slava will team with Coach Orsaia to host a summer skating clinic on 2010 as well as monthly practices with the Jr. Phantoms.
